Hiking in the Lechtal Alps
The region around Flirsch is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. With a 110-kilometre network of trails, awarded the Tyrolean Hiking Seal of Quality, you can expect scenic paths and well-signposted routes. Whether leisurely alpine hikes or challenging mountain tours to towering peaks – both beginners and experienced mountaineers will get their money’s worth here. Mountain biking on the Arlberg
Flirsch and the Arlberg offer a first-class area for cycling and mountain biking enthusiasts. Family-friendly cycle paths such as the Stanzertal cycle path along the Rosanna, as well as challenging mountain bike trails through lush meadows and shady forests, provide variety and fun. With over 3,800 kilometers of official mountain bike routes in Tyrol, including 200 kilometers of particularly attractive trails around Flirsch, bikers of all skill levels will find the perfect route. All routes are well signposted and offer breathtaking views.
Arlberg Trail
The new, sporty long-distance hiking trail Arlberg Trail, which connects all five Arlberg villages of Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Anton and St. Christoph, awaits true mountain enthusiasts. 3 stages, 5 places, 3 days: the well-signposted circular trail covers a total length of 50 kilometers, almost a fifth of which is covered by cable car. The total duration of the hike, during which 6,038 meters of altitude are covered on foot, is around 18 hours. Ideally, you should start from St. Anton am Arlberg in a clockwise direction so that the routes and cable car rides are perfectly coordinated.
